Rob Kardashain is not too happy with the paparazzi and he wasn’t afraid to show it the other day in Miami. The only Kardashian male actually chased one of the paps and it landed him in handcuffs but before you judge him too harshly all may not be as it seems.   TMZ broke the story that while Rob was in Miami over the weekend he was having what looks liked an argument with a woman on the street, when he noticed a photog filming him and the mystery lady. This did not go over too well with Kardashian, who then sprinted after the man that was doing the filming. The little chase went all the way into a smoke shop before it ended. Here is the kicker, even though you never actually hear Kardashain threaten the man behind the camera, you do hear the paparazzi guy say that Rob threatened him and was going to hit him. Oh and you hear him asking Rob not to hurt him. So all that happens then the cops detain Rob, they even tell him to stop resisting arrest. While The Hunger Games takes the box office by storm this weekend, star Jennifer Lawrence is taking things … easy. J. Law was spotted doing a bit of grocery shopping here in SoCal this week all by her lonesome. I guess one could say she was hungry, eh? We don’t normally get to see photos of Jennifer out and about in the wild and off the red carpet … but now that The Hunger Games is about to catapult her into the celebrity stratosphere, I’m guessing we’ll get to see more photos of the young star doing regular people things.

My guess is that Jennifer is not yet used to being photographed when she’s out and about in public … and I sincerely hope she gets used to it/doesn’t mind it because her life is about to change. By and large, everyone seems to LOVE The Hunger Games film … and that means that anticipation for the follow up films Catching Fire and Mockingjay will make her even more high profile. Honestly, I couldn’t resist the chance to post these photos of “hungry” Jennifer Lawrence. She’s a star now … I hope she’s ready for it.

Back on US soil … almost home again. After David and I said our goodbyes to Sarah in the WEE early hours yesterday morning, we enjoyed a lovely lunch together in a pub before we bid adieu to jolly ol’ England. 7 1/2 hours later, we landed in very cold NYC. The flight, I’m surprised to relay, wasn’t all that bad. I managed to stay up for the entire time, watched 3 movies and felt strangely productive (I watched 3 movies I’ve been meaning to see but missed in theaters last year). I had hoped to see Björk in concert last night but, alas, I didn’t land in time and I missed seeing her :( Still, it’s good to be (almost) home again.

Thanks to the Delta in-flight entertainment system, I was able to watch the films Anonymous, The Debt and Bridesmaids for the first time ever. I have had these films on my list for AGES … so I was happy to finally see them. Anonymous was very good … a clever, fictional tale. The Debt … wow! Loved this movie entirely. Jessica Chastain is a revelation. I loved her in The Help but she really shines in The Debt. Bridesmaids was funny … really cute. It wasn’t the end all, be all … but it was really good. I loved it.

Our arrival in NYC was so easy. Passport control took less than 5 mins, our baggage was out in 10 and we were in our cab, headed for home just 20 mins. after landing:

I hauled my buns to the Roseland Ballroom to see Björk but, alas, the show was totally over. I was totally bummed … and decided to drown my sorrows in a bag of crispy, salty McDonald’s french fries. I came back home, played on the computer for a bit and then passed out.

Today, David and I will be hanging out with some of our NYC family and friends for a little engagement get together … which should be really fun! We’ll be here in NYC for a couple more days before we fly back home, home to LA so … wee! Happy Sunday, Happy Oscars Day y’all!

I came across the cutest home video today featuring Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. An up-and-coming, but relatively unknown Canadian singer, Carly Rae Jepsen got a big dose of publicity when the two young starlets made a home music video of her single, “Call Me Maybe.” The fun vid also features Ashley Tisdale, her new boyfriend, Martin Johnson, Sammy Droke, “Kickin’ It” star Mateo Arias and Big Time Rush’s Logan Henderson, Kendall Schmidt and Carlos Pena. Once the home video hit YouTube, it was out there, and a new musician’s name! The song is really quite catchy and got picked up by Bieb’s manager after he made the video. It is also just super cute to see the gang goofing around and having a blast. Check out the new song and the troop’s little home video. Love it!

Carly Rae sure must have been stoked when she saw her celebrity “friends” enjoying her music. The song is definitely catchy and after I watched the video I couldn’t stop singing it! Carly has had some success in Canada, but on the whole she is pretty unknown. Now that it has some star powered backing, maybe it will actually rise up the charts. Apparently, Biebs heard her song on a Canadian radio station and thought it was great and now his manager, Scooter Braun, has signed her to his label, Schoolboy Records. So, in essence, Biebs and Selena can take credit for propelling Carly’s career.

She has since made a miraculous recovery after enduring numerous surgeries, and has even written a book titled Getting It Through My Thick Skull.

And now she's taken an even more positive step in her life, by getting married to her fiance, print shop manager, Stu Tendler.

The happy couple married in Vegas where Mary Jo wore a modest white ensemble and Stu wore a traditional suit and tie.

We are SO happy for her and we're glad she's been able to make such positive changes in her life.

While we wait for confirmation from the coroner, new reports are insisting Whitney Houston died from a cocktail of Valium, Xanax, and alcohol.

But the report can determine which drug mostly contributed to her untimely death.

An inside source says:

Whitney had taken Valium, Xanax, and alcohol, which led to her death. The coroner is waiting on final toxicology results to determine which one of the three was the major contributing factor of her demise.

The coroner will be closely examining Whitney's blood alcohol content at the time she died as well. The sedatives and alcohol will almost certainly be the cause of death, and not drowning.

Her heart stopped beating because her respiratory system was suppressed because of the anti-anxiety meds, and combined with the booze it probably happened very quickly before she was found partially submerged in the bathtub.

Wow...

Hollywood needs to take a mandatory class on the dangers of mixing prescription meds!!!
